This is a drawstring purse, call kinchaku in Japanese, which is made with Japanese cotton fabric. It is a beautiful Japanese Cotton called Kurume-Ori (woven), the base is black with red and white.
The cord is Edo uchihimo, and I added wood beads for the accent. Inside is lined with a ecru cotton fabric. It is great for carrying your coin purses, keys, lip sticks, sanitary/toiletry items.. whatever you can think of! It is also great for carrying your earphones and cords for your phones/tablets
Hand wash preferred, but you can wash in washer, might be better to put it in the laundry net. Hang dry please. You can iron them if you want, but not on strings. :-)
