This is a drawstring purse, call kinchaku in Japanese. The outer fabric is repurposed vintage Yukata which is summer kimono made with cotton fabric. The inside is lined with Japanese solid black cotton fabric. The cord is Edo uchihimo from Japan, and I added wood beads for the accent. It is great for carrying your coin purses, keys, lip sticks, sanitary/toiletry items.. whatever you can think of! It is also great for carrying your earphones and cords for your phones/tablets/PCs. It is made to order, but I might have some completed ones as well. Please feel free to ask about availability if you need to rush your order.

Usually vintage kimono is either 100% silk or rayon, and designed not to wash at home, but this one is made with cotton so you can wash at home. Please wash in cold water, gentle handwash would be ideal. :)

****This is vintage material, because of its nature that there might be some small parts that have wrinkles or tiny spots etc. I will try my best to use only the finest part out of the whole piece of obi/kimono, but please consider that there might be the chance to find a tiny spot like that. I will be happy to send detailed photos if you are comfortable to see them before placing the order. :-)
