They are tiny Kinchaku (drawstring purses) made out of repurposed vintage kimono. You have a choice of 3 different kimono designs, A (Green with yellow lines and pink dots), B (Black with red circle woven patterns), or C (Orange Shibori Japanese tie-dye). It is a great size drawstring bag to carry your small accessories and belongings on the go. Every bag is handmade by myself in Kirkland WA, USA. The cord is Edo uchihimo, inside is lined with red solid cotton fabric. If you would like other sizes please feel free to reach me about custom order.
Size: about 9cm x 11.5cm (3 1/2" x 4 1/2")
Materials: Outside Silk/Rayon, Inside 100% cotton
Care: Spot cleaning only please. Vintage kimono is either 100% silk or rayon, and designed not to wash at home. Some people say that you can dry-clean them, but depending on how they were dyed, some kimono might be ruined by dry-cleaning because it uses oil based cleaner. If you have some small spots that you would like to clean, please try just to take care of the spot, instead of washing the whole piece, or please bring them into someone who knows how to take care of the kimono. You can try to wash them at home, as the piece is made with silk materials, on your own risk.
