I made a foldover/envelop zipper clutch with stunning Japanese vintage obi (long piece of fabric to tie around Kimono like a belt). The material is vintage silk, and inside is lined with Japanese canvas called "sake-bukuro". This is the type of material to make a bag to squeeze sake in the process of sake brewing. It has unique texture because of how they process to dye these fabric. It is really durable and thick as heavy canvas or jeans, yet soft and not so stiff, really perfect for this type of clutch. The zipper is black with antique gold metal parts from Japan.
Size: about W25.5cm x H24.5cm (10 1/16" x 9 5/8") unfolded, W25.5cm x H13.5cm (10 1/16" x 5 5/16")
Care: Please do not wash unless you know how to take care of kimono materials. If you need to clean inside, spot clean only please.

****This is vintage materials, because of its nature that there might be some small parts that has wrinkles or tiny spots etc. I will try my best to use only the finest part out of whole piece of obi/kimono, but please consider that there might be the chance to find tiny spot like that. I will be happy to send detail photos if you are comfortable to see them before placing the order. :-)
