This is a wrap scarf with Japanese fabric. It is Yo-Ryu crape, 86% cotton, 7% linen and 7% Ramie. It has a kind of like Washi (Japanese paper) texture, it creates natural and effortless look. Because of the width of about 110cm (43 5/16"), it is big enough for cold season, but still light weight you can use year around. You can fold it in a triangle to wear around your neck, or put on your shoulder. In the last photo, it shows the sample tag comes with your scarf, and we are making them individually by hand so each tag design will be different from the one in this photo. Because we use different materials for each scarf (100% cotton, mix of cotton & Linen, etc) so that we make the tag for each scarf by hand at this point. It is machine washable (cool water might be the best), please put them in the laundry nets, then air dry please. It will be a great gift. :-)
Both ends of fabric are frayed by our hand about 15mm - 20mm or so. It might fray a bit more, but it should stop eventually. I can stitch with a sewing machine for free of charge if you would like (please leave a note on your order for stitches), but to me, it looks better without a stitch for this one. :-)
