This is a square wrap/shawl/stole with Japanese linen cotton fabric. It is 55% linen and 45% cotton mix fabric, it has a wrinkle effect by tumble washed. I had a hard time to show the true color on digital photos, but I did my best. It is gray with hint of green/blue, ash, smoky color. I think the Japanese Traditional color "Mushi Ao 虫襖" might be the closest.
Both end of fabric is frayed by our hand about 15mm - 20mm or so, then sashiko hand stitched across with ash gray thread which is dyed with Kakishibu (persimmon tannin dye). The photos of wrap is folded in triangle to wear around the neck. In the last photo, it shows the sample of tag comes with your scarf, and we are making them individually by hands so each tag design will be different from the one in this photo. Because we use different materials for each scarfs (100% cotton, mix of cotton & Linen, etc) so that we make the tag for each pieces by hands at this point. It is machine washable (cool water might be the best), put them in the laundry net if you have. Air dry please. It will be a great gift. :-)
