I made an infinity/snood scarf with Japanese fabric. It is 100% cotton, carefully hand dyed by Japanese artisans in Japan. This is the salt-shrinkage fabric, which creates a unique uneven texture on the surface. The polka dots are sheer as seen through, all these effects give the fabric with more depth and beautiful impression even with just one color. This black is like the Sumi (the charcoal) black, hand-dyed brings slight shades like calligraphy depending on the part of fabric and the lights. It is 100% cotton that you can wash in washer machine (cool water might be the best), put them in the laundry nets if you have. Air dry please. It will be a great gift. :-)
