This is KINCHAKU, drawstring purse made with our original hand-dyed Tenugui. The pattern is bicycle wheels and the material is high quality Tenugui. The fabric is super soft Japanese 100% cotton, and pattern design is done by us. Dyeing process was done by artisans from Tenugui studio in Japan, they hand cut the pattern corner to corner, and dye all by hands.
To keep its weight light, we intentionally made this purse without liner inside, it is made by one piece of Tenugui. It is a very simple and light weight purse, very easy to use and quick to get dried after washing. It is great for organizing inside of your suitcase for your trip, putting some laundry from your trip (you can just toss this purse to washer with them!). It has a plenty of room with about W31cm (12 1/4") and H37.5cm (14 3/4"). The cord is Edo uchihimo from Japan.
All purses are handmade by myself in Kirkland WA, USA.
If you are not familiar with, Tenugui is 100% cotton multipurpose materials, people in Japan use Tenugui as hand towel, dish towel, handkerchief, bandana, wrapping, or materials for sewing and crafting. Whatever however you want, it's up to you! It has selvages on both sides, and both end of Tenugui are not finished. The hems are left unfinished because it dries faster since the water doesn't collect on a hem after washing. It will fray for while, you can cut the string that came off, and eventually it should stop fraying maybe up to 1/4 - 1/3 inches or so. Some of Tenugui might be discolored first time of laundry, so please be careful for first few times when you wash them. :-)

Care: washer machine (cold/cool water is the best because of hand dyed), Air dry please, and iron medium/high if you desire. :-) This is real hand dyed fabric, it might discolor for the first few times of laundry, so please be careful about what to wash with.
