This is a drawstring purse, call kinchaku in Japanese. The outer fabric is repurposed vintage kimono, inside is lined with Japanese solid navy coptton linen fabric. The cord is Edo uchihimo from Japan, and I added wood beads for the accent. It is great for carrying your coin purses, keys, lip sticks, sanitary/toiletry items.. whatever you can think of! It is also great for carrying your earphones and cords for your phones/tablets/PCs. It is made to order, but I might have some completed ones as well. Please feel free to ask about availability if you need to rush your order.

Vintage kimono is either 100% silk or rayon, and designed not to wash at home. Some people say that you can dry-clean them, but depending on how they were dyed, some kimono might be ruined by dry-cleaning because it uses oil based cleaner. If you have some small spots that you would like to clean, please try just to take care of the spot, instead of washing the whole piece, or please bring them into someone who knows how to take care of the kimono. You can try to wash them at home, as the piece is made with silk materials, on your own risk.

Size
About W15cm (5 7/8") x L16.2cm (6 3/8")

*Each piece may look slightly different depending on the pattern placement of the fabric.
**I do my best to make photos look true to color, but, colors may vary depending on the screen setting, monitor and/or browser.
***Because of the nature of handmade pieces, the size might be slightly varied.
****This is vintage material, because of its nature that there might be some small parts that have wrinkles or tiny spots etc. I will try my best to use only the finest part out of the whole piece of obi/kimono, but please consider that there might be the chance to find a tiny spot like that. I will be happy to send detailed photos if you are comfortable to see them before placing the order. :-)
